Last year, many of you donated to our Cat Fund a Need to help us replace our damaged and aging Catio.  Unfortunately, we have had to wait a long time for your generous funds to be used.  The roof of the building where the Catio would attach was slated to be replaced thanks to the citizens of Vallejo voting for HSNB in our last Participatory Budgeting.  We have been patiently (OK not so patiently) waiting for the new roof to be installed and the roofers are finally here!  We are hopefully to move forward with a new Catio before the winter rains.

You have also generously donated towards a new "meet and greet" room for our cat adopters, and we ask that you continue to donate towards other needs in our cat area.  Our dedicated Cat Kennel Technicians are daily receiving new kittens and cats, and funds are needed to update their work area with new kennels and other improvements. These improvements aren't just cosmetic; your donations will enhance their safety and comfort and will provide sanctuaries where our cats and kittens will be happier, healthier, and more easily adoptable.
